After a rather impressive trailer, it looks as though 'Constantine' is heavily inspired by the comic books… and Matt Ryan admits that they want to keep it that way. It's one of DC's more obscure comic books - at least, for mainstream audiences. But despite this, it looks as though the upcoming 'Constantine' TV show will be staying as close to the original 'Hellblazer' comic books as possible. In an interview with IGN, the 33-year-old Welsh actor admitted that his research for the role of John Constantine has led him straight to the comic books… and they're trying to remain as faithful to them as possible.
