By Lucas Shaw NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - Morgan Freeman will soon join Johnny Depp in "Transcendence," the directorial debut of Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister, Alcon Entertainment announced on Thursday. Freeman is in "final negotiations" to join the film's cast, which means he'll be on set barring some last-minute catastrophe. Principal photography for the film, which Alcon is financing and producing, will begin next month in Los Angeles.
