Open Road Acquires Jon Favreau's ‘Chef' Starring Sofia Vergara, Robert Downey Jr

By Lucas Shaw NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - Open Road Films has acquired domestic distribution rights to Jon Favreau's "Chef," the studio announced on Wednesday. Favreau will direct the film from his own script about a chef who loses his job and decides to open a food truck. Favreau will also star as the chef with Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and John Leguizamo filling out the cast.
