Cannes Grand Prix winner 'Salvo' acquired by Film Movement

By Greg Gilman LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Film Movement has picked up the North American distribution rights to "Salvo," an Italian noir which won the Grand Prix at Cannes Critics' Week and the France 4 Visionary Award earlier this year. The drama from first time feature filmmakers Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza follows Sicilian Mafia hitman, who spares the young, blind sister of one of his victims. Film Movement is planning a limited national theatrical run after opening in New York in the second quarter of 2014. ...
