'Man of Steel' pushes June box office to record heights

Overall grosses for the month hit $1.25 billion, 15 percent ahead of the $1.09 billion haul in 2009, according to BoxOfficeMojo, and 18 percent higher than last June. Warner Bros.' "Man of Steel" led the box-office hit parade with $249 million domestic and Disney's Pixar family film "Monsters University" was second, with $170 million through just 10 days. ...
