Author behind David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' signs with WME

By Lucas Shaw NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - Bestselling author Gillian Flynn has signed with WME, which will represent her for film, TV and adaptations of her novels, the agency announced on Monday. Two movies based on Flynn's novels are already on the way, with a third in the works. David Fincher will direct "Gone Girl," starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, for Fox. The book is the most recent of Flynn's novels and also her top seller, with more than 3 million copies sold since its release last summer. Pike will play a wife who disappears and Affleck the husband blamed for her absence. ...
