'Twilight: Eclipse' Director David Slade to Direct Maiden Episode of NBC's 'Crossbones'

The director, whose big-screen credits include "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," will direct the first episode of NBC's upcoming pilot drama "Crossbones," an individual familiar with the situation told TheWrap on Monday. The series, which is slated to premiere midseason, portrays an 18th century pirate society more civilized than the British Empire.
