By Tim Molloy NEW YORK (TheWrap.com) - "CSI" star George Eads will be absent from several episodes of the show this season after an argument with a writer on the show. "George Eads will not appear in several episodes during the first half of the season," CBS Television Studios said in a statement. "We look forward to him returning to 'CSI' very soon." Eads, who has played Nick Stokes on the drama since its 2000 premiere, had a non-physical fight with the writer. CBS declined to comment on the details of the altercation. "CSI" returns Wednesday, September 25.
