As divisive as the casting of Ben Affleck has proved to be among fans of the DC movie universe, it seems to have been met with near universal approval from his peers, and now the new Batman has officially received the blessing of the actor who started it all, as far as the movies are concerned: Michael Keaton, who took the role of the Caped Crusader and his everyday alter-ego Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton's 'Batman' (1989) and 'Batman Returns' (1992).
