Tweeting celebrities is a great way to get more involved in your respective fandoms, and to feel closer to the actors and actresses that you regard as your heroes. Obviously some twitter accounts are nothing more than cleverly managed PR, but some actors and actresses are fun to follow. This is the case with several of 'The Hobbit' stars who actually, as far as I can tell, run their own accounts and actually have fun and useful things to say.
