So far this year we've already seen 'From Up On Poppy Hill' from Goro Miyazaki and the maestro himself Hayao (Goro's father) has seen his latest directorial venture 'The Wind Rises' get a theatrical release in his native Japan. Both films focus on the very grounded nature that Studio Ghibli are renowned for, as they each look at real, relatable issues situated within a historical context.
