Weinstein, Millennium hit with $10 million suit over 'Lovelace' film

By Brent Lang LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - The Weinstein Company and Millennium Films, producers of "Lovelace" - a new biopic about Linda Lovelace - are being sued for $10 million over alleged copyright and trademark violations. In a lawsuit filed in New York federal court, Arrow Productions, which owns the copyright to the 1972 film, claims that Weinstein and Millennium copped more than five minutes of the famed porn star's notorious vehicle and violated its trademarked rights to the name Linda Lovelace. Lovelace was the stage name of the film's star, the late Linda Susan Boreman. ...
