With the current deluge of big-budget superhero films - I count six $100+ million comic book adaptations this year alone - it's easy to forget how many projects have fallen by the wayside. In the world of "what might have been", we have a shiny-suited Nicholas Cage battling polar bears in Tim Burton's already infamous 'Superman Lives' and a James Cameron-helmed Spider-Man in which ole Webhead would have faced off against an incarnation of Doctor Octopus who insists upon using the same moniker as his nemesis and employing the catchphrase "Okey dokey". ...
