Even though Pixar are known for a host of traits and standards of quality such as their superlative animation, interesting stories, great voice acting and iconic character creation, a part of them remains quite old fashioned. Rather sceptically conceived is their insistence that ex-'Cheers' star John Ratzenberger appear in all of their films as a sort of good luck charm; their lucky charm, as it were.
