Avatar: James Cameron plagiarism case could impact upon Avatar sequel

Avatar: James Cameron plagiarism case could impact upon Avatar sequel James Cameron must feel that the plagiarism case that has been filed against the 'Avatar' director by the disgruntled Eric Ryder is becoming rather interminable. With Cameron slaving away on preparations for the second movie in the 'Avatar' series, the case that refuses to go away has been prolonged once more. Ryder, the plaintiff who lost the original plagiarism suit to James Cameron over 'Avatar' has appealed against the refusal of the judge involved in the case to disqualify herself from overseeing it. The plaintiff had previously sought to have the sitting judge in the case, the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Susan Bryant-Deason, removed from the case due to the alleged occupation of her husband, Paul, as an executive producer for Fox Studios, the distributor of the 'Avatar' movies.
