Fans were dealt a hefty blow when it was announced that director Justin Lin would not be returning to the 'Fast and Furious' franchise for his fifth entry. Now Lin has found a new franchise to steer towards greater success and according to Deadline will be directing a sequel to 'The Bourne Legacy'. The man in the driving seat of the fast car franchise from 'Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift' right through to 'Fast and Furious 6' cited the speedy shooting schedule of the seventh film in the series as his reason to jump ship. Justin Lin shepherded the franchise from its lowest box office take with the third entry to its biggest with 'Fast and Furious 6', grossing over $750 million worldwide.
