Hayao Miyazaki working on serialised samurai manga?

Hayao Miyazaki working on serialised samurai manga? In an interview that took place over the weekend on Sekai-ichi Uketai Jugyō, Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki revealed a number of things regarding the studio's output, its future and just what the recently retired Hayao Miyazaki is doing with his newly found free time. Turns out he's not experiencing his retirement in the way a lot of others would, because Suzuki let slip that Miyazaki, now 77, is still working on projects. Miyazaki is a known admirer of the historical context and importance within his films, so when asked whether he is partial to sengoku jidai no chanbara -- samurai-based tales set in Japan's Warring States Period -- Suzuki responded with, "That's what he is drawing now. Obviously the producer, known for his work on 'Ponyo', 'Spirited Away', 'Pom Poko' and Porco Rosso', had perhaps revealed a little too much by speaking about what Miyazaki is currently working on.
