Hunger Games: Catching Fire to be less violent than original Hunger Games

Hunger Games: Catching Fire to be less violent than original Hunger Games All 'Hunger Games' fans are currently looking out for every morsel of information that they can get their hands on regarding the way that the forthcoming 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' will turn out. Obviously the change of director from Gary Ross to Francis Lawrence was expected to yield a slightly different approach to the adaptation of the second novel in the 'Hunger Games' trilogy. But the 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' director has now given further indication of the tone of the second 'Hunger Games' movie. Lawrence indicated that there is less "person-on-person killing" in his movie than the original Gary Ross directed 'Hunger Games', stating that he was more interested in seeing people's reactions to the killing than lots of needless blood and gore.
