American comic actor Nick Offerman has revealed he auditioned to be Wolverine in Bryan Singer's first 'X-Men' movie. Offerman, 43, has attained legendary status in recent years thanks to his role as dour tower of manliness Ron Swanson in US sitcom 'Parks and Recreation'. Speaking to Newsarama he said: "You know actually, I auditioned for Wolverine when Bryan Singer made the first 'X-Men' movie. I always felt when I was younger, I could have taken a good crack at Wolverine."
