Speaking to MTV, 'Fast and Furious 7' star Paul Walker has revealed that he is 'definitely optimistic' about the direction that new director James Wan is taking the franchise. James Wan is taking over from Justin Lin who directed the last four films starting with 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' and ending with 'Fast and Furious 6'. James Wan may have at first appeared to be a strange choice to take over from departing director Justin Lin. However star Paul Walker is convinced Wan is the right man for the job.
