COMMENT | A while back I wrote an article bringing news of a new Hobbit and Lord of the Rings sculpture joining Gollum in Wellington airport. However thanks to a nice dose of natural disaster the new sculptures have had a turbulent time. Most of you will know that the new sculpture to accompany the 'Gollum Juicy Fish' sculpture at the airport was a pair of giant eagles, one with Gandalf riding astride it. The eagle sculptures were developed by Weta Workshop and Wellington Airport to welcome visitors to the Wellington region of New Zealand.
