Stan Lee, who helped to co-create the Avengers, has revealed that he doesn't have "any idea who the hell Ultron is." During a recent in-depth discussion with Playboy [via HitFix.com], Lee admitted that he doesn't know much about the titular villain who is set to be played by James Spader in the hugely anticipated 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron.' However, there is a very good reason why Lee doesn't have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the character, as he explained, "He was a character developed after I stopped being involved in the Avengers story." Lee's story checks out as Ultron was actually created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, and he appeared for the first time in 1968's Avengers #54.
