It has been announced that the Smallville scenes for 'Batman vs. Superman' will be shot in Yorkville, Illinois - the same area used for the Kent farm in 'Man of Steel.' Detroit and the surrounding areas in Michigan have long since been confirmed as the base for the bulk of photography on Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' sequel (for which, we must once again emphasise, an official title has still not been announced). Readers with good memories may recall that last November there were unconfirmed reports that scenes for the 'Man of Steel' sequel were being shot on the same location where the original film's Kent farm scenes were shot. It seems these reports were indeed accurate, and the Kent farm set - which had been taken down after its scenes had been completed for 'Man of Steel' - had been re-erected on the same site.
