You would think that David S Goyer might be a bit bored with the superhero genre, having written films for Blade, Batman and Superman, but he has now admitted that he wants to add to this iconic trifecta by scribing a Green Lantern film too. After being told by the interviewer that the opening to 'Man Of Steel', which Goyer also says was "pretty close to [his] original conception and vision and hope for what it would be," should be used as the template for a potential 'Green Lantern' reboot, Goyer immediately threw his hat into the ring for writing the potential film. "I would love to do 'Green Lantern'," he revealed, before noting that he only agreed to work on 'Man Of Steel' because he wanted to showcase Krypton as an alien world and highlight Superman as a science fiction commodity. Having Goyer write a new 'Green Lantern' film would probably make sense as he has overseen some of the most critically lauded superhero movies of the modern era, including 'Batman Begins,' 'Blade' and 'Blade II,' while Ryan Reynolds' 2011 attempt to launch the character was roundly chastised.
