With Disney already dominating the film industry -- having acquired Pixar, Lucas Film and Marvel over recent years -- they've maintained a firm stranglehold on the market, with 'Indiana Jones' and 'Star Wars' movies also belonging to them. In terms of Disney-specific movies, 'Maleficent', starring Angelina Jolie, and the intriguing 'Tomorrowland' will be showcased on the awe-inspiring format. Films such as 'The Dark Knight' looked incredible on an IMAX screen, and titles like the latest 'Avengers' and 'Star Wars' films will likely blow audiences away (but not literally, of course). Walt Disney Studios president Alan Bergman isn't the only one excited about the potential the format has with their upcoming films, either.
