Fantastic Four 2 confirmed for 2017, X-Men crossover in 2018? The revelation that Fox are already developing a sequel to 2015's 'Fantastic Four' is in stark contrast to rumours from earlier this week that suggested the studio were on the precipice of dumping the reboot, which had come in for some criticism after its cast was recently announced. It isn't a surprise that a new 'Wolverine' solo outing is in the pipeline, as the 'X-Men' franchise has so far grossed over $2billion for the studio, who class the films as their top priority. However, it isn't yet known if Hugh Jackman will return as Logan, as he has already played the character seven times since 2000's origin film. If he planned to leave those in charge would, at first, set-up a new actor with his own solo Wolverine film, which still tied into future 'X-Men' projects, rather than basically having him step into the role as Jackman's understudy.
