Frozen becomes biggest-grossing animated film ever

Frozen becomes biggest-grossing animated film ever Disney's CGI epic has overtaken Pixar at the top, which saw 'Toy Story 3' hold the title since 2010. Jen Lee and Chris Buck's film, costing around $150 million to make, became the highest-grossing original animated film of all-time at the end of January when it beats the likes of 'Finding Nemo' and 'The Lion King', yet remained behind 'Shrek 2'. It just goes to show how big the animated film has been and how many people are paying attention to it. With the speed at which the movie was making money and breaking box office records left, right and centre, it was something of an inevitability that it'd end up surpassing Pixar's flick.
