Dale Earnhardt Jr. wasn't a big fan of blowing a tire and smacking the wall during Sunday's 400-miler at Auto Club Speedway. Come to think of it: Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick and many more likely didn't care to make unexpected pit stops when Goodyear's rubber came apart underneath them. Still, Sunday was gigantic step in the right direction for NASCAR.
