Jack O'Connell is a rising British star, so naturally he has been linked with a role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII' alongside every other actor alive today. Rumours late last year suggested the former 'Skins'-star had met with casting directors about a potential leading role - possibly as the son of one of the returning original trilogy stars. In an interview Metro he couldn't be drawn on the validity of the claims, but did speak highly of director J.J. Abrams and said he would consider the role.
