The director and lead actresses have been confirmed for the latest remake of haunted house movie 'The Amityville Horror,' from production company Blumhouse. Confirming rumours which began to circulate late last week, The Wrap announce that Franck Khalfoun has signed on to direct the film for producer Jason Blum. In front of the camera will be seasoned actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Disney Channel veteran Bella Thorne. The script is from Daniel Farrands (writer of 'Halloween 6' and 2007 horror 'The Girl Next Door') and Casey La Scala (producer of 'Donnie Darko').
