'Guardians of the Galaxy's' immensely popular trailer from last month failed to introduce several of the film's characters, each of whom are set to play key roles in the hotly anticipated Marvel blockbuster. One of those to left on the cinematic side-line was Karen Gillan, the Scottish actress who is primarily remembered for her stint on 'Doctor Who' as Amy Pond, the loveable assistant to Matt Smith's Time Lord. Gillan will play Nebula in the intergalactic action adventure, an employee of the evil Thanos, who teams up with Lee Pace's psychotic Ronan and has a "complex relationship" with Zoe Saldana's Gamora. We only a got a slight view of Gillan, who shaved off her luscious ginger locks to play the part, as Nebula in the trailer, but now director James Gunn has uploaded an image of her to his Twitter account which gives us a more thorough glimpse:
