Ghost House Pictures and Good Universe are set to relaunch 'The Grudge' horror franchise with a new film that'll make its way to screens as a reboot. Takashi Shimazu was responsible for the 2002 Japanese original that still sends a shiver down the spine, and was also on directing duties for its follow-up 'The Grudge 2'. 'The Midnight Meat Train' writer Jeff Buhler is on board to pen the script, with 'The Evil Dead' director Sam Raimi as its producer. He joins Rob Tapert and Taka Ichise, with Roy Lee, Doug Davison, Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane as executive producers for the overhaul.
