After confirmation that 'Star Wars VII' begins shooting in May, it looks as though they might just sneak in a smaller location shoot in Iceland as early as next month. Although principal photography for 'Star Wars VII' doesn't begin until May 2014, it seems that J.J. Abrams and co. might be heading out to Iceland to take some 'plate' shots for the upcoming 'Star Wars' sequel. According to Icelandic website Visir, it looks as though 'Star Wars: Episode VII' may be filming some plate shots in the country sometime in April. "The latest 'Star Wars' movie comes to Iceland at the end of April, and it will be [local production company] True North who assists the shooting team in the country, according to sources."
