David S Goyer's hopes for a 'cohesive' DC universe David S Goyer has spoken of how he and Warner Bros are gradually working towards making the DC live action universe "more cohesive." As has been widely noted, the old (and usually amiable) rivalry between the two comic book giants Marvel and DC has reached new heights in the 21st century, with Marvel clearly leading the way at the cinema, but DC enjoying greater TV success. While thus far the Warners/DC brand lacks the kind of strong figurehead that Marvel have in Kevin Feige, writer/producer David S Goyer seems the closest they have on their team - and he has spoken again about the challenges facing DC on screen. Asked by IGN about the possibility of a Marvel-esque crossover universe for DC's live action work (small and big screen alike), Goyer was cautious in his response:
