According to Variety, the studio have lined up director Jon Turtelaub, the man behind 'Cool Runnings' and 'National Treasure: Book Of Secrets,' to helm the film, while 'The Internship' and 'The Watch's' Jared Stern will write the film. However, and perhaps most importantly, 'The Lego Movie's' Dan Lin will also work on the film as its producer, which suggests that it will hopefully have the same spirit and energy as the recent smash hit. For anyone who hasn't ever visited Disneyland and been driven to the edge of insanity by the ride's catchy ditty, which is ingeniously entitled 'It's a Small World,' the ride features over 300 audio-animatronic dolls from across the globe singing the song, which promotes peace and love, directly into your face for what seems like eternity. Robert S. Sherman and Richard B. Sherman, the legendary Disney songwriters behind 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', 'The Jungle Book' and 'Mary Poppins', wrote the theme after being asked by Walt to create something that could easily be adapted into numerous languages.
