Donal Logue: Gotham Works Without Batman

Donal Logue: Gotham Works Without Batman Donal Logue, star of DC's upcoming TV series 'Gotham,' explains how this new prequel show will work without Batman, saying it will tackle the question, "How did we get to the point where we had to have a Batman?" Logue will be the first live-action actor to portray crooked, veteran Gotham cop Harvey Bullock, alongside Ben McKenzie as young and inexperienced Detective Jim Gordon, in a crime-ridden Gotham City prior to the existence of Batman, whilst newly-orphaned Bruce Wayne is still a young boy. Many have expressed doubts about the idea of a 'Batman' TV series without Batman, including the erstwhile Jim Gordon actor Gary Oldman - but Logue insists to IGN that the show will present something worthwhile.
