Jack Reynor: Transformers: Age Of Extinction Is ‘Darker’

Jack Reynor: Transformers: Age Of Extinction Is ‘Darker’ Jack Reynor has confirmed that 'Transformers: Age Of Extinction' is much darker than any of its cinematic predecessors. The Irish actor, who will play Shane Dyson in the fourth instalment to the franchise, has reiterated Titus Welliver's previous comments, which saw the actor reprimanded by Paramount. "This 'Transformers' is a little bit darker than the previous ones were maybe, and I think that it - I think that you're going to see the Autobots in this movie maybe reflect a little bit of a sense of anger and resentment that might be something that we see in contemporary society, particularly in the United States," Reynor told the Michigan Daily during a conference call with the publication. Nicola Peltz, who stars as Dyson's beau, Tessa Yeager, the daughter of Mark Wahlberg's widow Cade, noted that 'Age Of Extinction' will also feature a lighter side - an element that you don't usually associate with Optimus Prime and his metal-head buddies.
