Monaghan, who played Meriadoc Brandybuck in the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy is set to cameo as a Jedi at some point in the new Star Wars trilogy according to Star Wars news-site YodasNews, although currently it must be stated that these are just rumours and nothing substantial.
