Jonathan Nolan, co-writer of 'The Dark Knight' and 'The Dark Knight Rises,' has praised the casting of Ben Affleck as the new Batman, saying he will be "incredible" in the role. Taking questions from social media in an interview with Larry King, Nolan was asked whether he was surprised by the casting of Ben Affleck in Zack Snyder's Batman/Superman crossover for Warners/DC. I think he's going to be an incredible Batman." Jonathan Nolan co-wrote the screenplays for the last two 'Dark Knight' movies with his director brother Christopher, neither of whom have any involvement in the still officially untitled 'Man of Steel' follow-up.
