In the show's season three finale blue fluid was seen falling onto a symbol in a barn which then took the shape of a familiar blonde woman in a blue dress. Fans of the show had been speculating whether it really was Elsa or the Snow Queen from the Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale upon which 'Frozen' was based. The Walt Disney Company owns ABC, which is how the appearance has come about.
