Marvel president Kevin Feige has overseen their most successful ever period as a cinematic corporation. However the studios current president isn't solely to blame for Marvel's recent upheaval in fortune, that's according to his predecessor Ari Arad. Arad, who took control of Marvel Comics following its bankruptcy in 2006, and then held various positions until he resigned in 2006, has now claimed that he was the one who helped to bring characters that would make up Joss Whedon's 'The Avengers' together. The Israeli born businessman revealed that it actually took quite a lot of persuasion to get Iron Man back from New Line Studios - a scenario that, had it failed, would have drastically changed the current outlook of Marvel's Cinematic Universe.
