After being head hunted for the role of Gambit in 'X-Men: Apocalypse', it looks as though Channing Tatum is close to closing the deal. But while Channing Tatum has reportedly signed up for the role, it looks as though he hasn't quite clinched it. "I hope to be joining," he said when asked about a potential appearance in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'. Of course, he's been rumoured for the role of Gambit for some time… and with 'X-Men: Apocalypse' set to be the next film in the franchise, it's a safe assumption that if he does sign up, he'll be picking up that Bo staff in time to take on Apocalypse himself.
