FOX have released the first trailer for 'Gotham', as well as an extended clip previewing the upcoming television series, while they've also ordered a full first season. 'Gotham' will revolve around Batman's home city, however it will look at the origin stories of his alter-ego, Bruce Wayne, and Jim Gordon, as well as numerous villains, which includes The Riddler and The Penguin. You can check out the extended trailer here, which FOX surprised viewers with after they'd originally shown the 45-second spot [via EW] during '24: Live Another Day's' US premiere. The music echoed Hans Zimmer's Dark Knight score, it was gorier than I expected, while director Danny Cannon appears to have turned Gotham into a haunting and gothic location, while still making its urban locale seem relatable, plus there was also a nice cinematic tinge to his shots.
