After lifting the lid on the 'Guardians of the Galaxy', it looks as though Marvel's official character outlines give us a good idea of what to expect. And while Marvel Studios certainly has a lot of faith in their latest band of comic book heroes, it seems that some fans might need a quick rundown of this rag-tag bunch of miscreants. It looks as though Marvel is happy to give us a bit more insight into the world of the Guardians of the Galaxy… "After recovering an ancient artefact, Quill must rally an unlikely team of cosmic misfits to prevent a powerful villain from destroying the galaxy." Obviously hinting at the artefact we saw in the first trailer, it looks as though Thanos has managed to track down another Infinity Gem.
