Marvel have announced a couple of key details on their upcoming TV series 'Agent Carter,' and star Hayley Atwell has given a few hints of what we can expect from the show. Having portrayed the character three times to date, in 'Captain America: the First Avenger,' the One-Shot short film 'Agent Carter' (which acts as a semi-pilot episode for the series), and in a brief cameo under heavy geriatric make-up in 'Captain America: the Winter Soldier,' Atwell was asked how it felt to have fans seeming so eager for her to return to the role for a whole series based around the character. While little has been revealed thus far as to what the series will entail, it has been intimated that the 'Agent Carter' short film largely provides the blueprint. It shows a post-WW2 Peggy Carter returning to the male-dominated civilian US and relegated to the kind of desk work deemed becoming of a woman in those days.
