Spider-Man Returning To Marvel Studios?

Spider-Man Returning To Marvel Studios? Spider-Man is allegedly set to return to Marvel Studios, which, if true, would allow it to cross-over into their hugely cinematic universe that already features Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Hulk. Don't get too excited just yet though because this rumour hasn't started to swirl because those in positions of power at both Marvel and Sony, who currently own the rights to Spider-Man, have uttered them. Instead it was Max Landis, the son of 'The Blues Brothers', 'Trading Places' and 'An American Werewolf in London's' John Landis as well as a renowned screenwriter in his own right, who took to Twitter to release the news. On Tuesday evening Landis wrote [via CosmicBookNews.com], \"Crazy about Marvel getting Spider-Man back, that's gonna be bonkers.\" Before the comic-book community even had a chance to digest what they'd just read and imagine the money-spinning opportunities ahead for the studio, Landis added, \"… there's a chance I wasn't supposed to tweet that.\"
