The British director of the new Godzilla blockbuster is to make a spin-off Star Wars movie. Gareth Edwards has said he was "excited" and "honoured" to be at the helm for the new flick which is due out on December 16, 2016. It is not known what the unnamed spin-off will be about but there is speculation it could focus on characters such as bounty hunter Boba Fett and Jedi master Yoda. The Hollywood Reporter claimed there were also rumours of a potential Han Solo origin story or untold adventures of Luke Skywalker.
