Writer Simon Kinberg has been hyping up 'Days of Future Past's sequel 'X-Men: Apocalypse', describing it as a film unlike any other superhero movie to date. Set to be directed by Bryan Singer and confirmed to feature a handful of the series' original stars, Apocalypse will focus on the younger cast of mutants taking on the eponymous super-mutant. In an interview with IGN, Kinberg said: "The kind of scope and scale we're talking about is like disaster movie, extinction level event. Sort of Roland Emmerich-style movie-making, which you've never seen in an X-Men movie, or any superhero movie, which I think is exciting."
