Guardians: Karen Gillan Approves Of Josh Brolin As Thanos

Guardians: Karen Gillan Approves Of Josh Brolin As Thanos As last week's rumours that Josh Brolin will voice Marvel's cosmic supervillain Thanos in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' are seemingly confirmed, cast member Karen Gillan has voiced her approval of this casting. ComicBook.com quote the former 'Doctor Who' actress from a personal appearance at this past weekend's Wizard World Comic Con in Atlanta, where she described the 'No Country For Old Men' actor's addition to James Gunn's superhero space epic as "so cool." It seems the question was raised by a fan who noted that, as Gillan is lined up to star in her first western - 'In A Valley of Violence,' for producer Jason Blum and director Ti West - Josh Brolin might be a good guy to go to for accent advice, given he's famed for his gravelly cowboy drawl. Gillan reportedly replied, "That's so cool... You're right.
