Simon Pegg On Ant-Man: "It's Marvel's Loss"

Simon Pegg On Ant-Man: "It's Marvel's Loss" Simon Pegg has spoken again about Marvel's 'Ant-Man,' declaring the parting of ways between the studio and writer-director Edgar Wright to be "their loss." While Pegg is not in any way involved with 'Ant-Man,' his opinion has been of widespread interest given his close professional and personal association with Wright - who, unsurprisingly, has remained silent on the matter thus far. Quick update in case you've missed all the brouhaha: it was announced three weeks ago that Wright was leaving 'Ant-Man,' having been attached to the film since 2006, during which time he nurtured the project with co-writer Joe Cornish (with whom he also collaborated on the script for Spielberg's 'The Adventures of Tintin: the Secret of the Unicorn'). After an uncertain couple of weeks, Peyton Reed was finally announced as Wright's replacement with Adam McKay (who turned down an offer to direct) helping out on the script.
